Sustaining life and preserving the nature is a challenging task to fulfill. This two things are difficult to achieve because focusing on other one may affect the latter. But then, there are some simple things that we can do to help preserving our nature and sustaining life in one, just like the simple act of planting fruits,vegetables and other herbs in our own backyard. It is often disregarded by many but then we should acknowledge the fact that agriculture is the backbone of the Philippine's society and we should take that as an advantage to support our food source not only for our own use but for future generations also.

Simple act of doing backyard farming or vertical gardening is a way to lessen the worry on one of the most important need of a human to survive which is having enough food supply. It is a great way to sustain our resources while supporting our needs to live. More so we can make use of plastic bottles and other recyclable items as pots to minimize the waste and help cleaning the environment while putting trash into a better use. 

We should also give emphasize to the role of the youth and future generations in creating a change and supporting the campaign raising the awareness with the importance of planting. We must realize that earth is the only planet that can sustain life and it will be our home for our lifetime that's why we must see why should we take care of it and help to conserve it's resources. This is the time to get courage, speak up , and to do an action in helping our nature, sustaining life and conserving the environment.
