I am signing because I feel this will ruin the feel of the neighborhood and cause safety issues. I have to back into my garage on McAllister between Broderick and Divisadero and it is already unsafe. Having faster moving traffic would make it too dangerous for my family to use the garage.

Traffic circles would increase risk to my family with two small children. Bus drivers and other cars would not be stopping or paying attention to pedestrians. In addition, traffic on Steiner would be a standstill most times during the day.

Traffic lights make my neighborhood less residential and more a throughfare... This is not what we need in our diverse neighborhood. Please do not let this happen. I feel completely helpless and that the government makes recommendations that are not really an ask but rather a mandate with the asking steps of public involvement. This is a farce and the will of the neighborhood is ignored and people abused by the people who hide behind government protocol. Wake up please we all need a healthy enviornment... Light only make the noise of rushing traffic intensified, the bikers less safe with the rush of cars and pedestrians can hear each other talk waiting for the lull in the noise level. I vote NO to the proposal and YES to community.

We have the great one way car streets for efficient crow town traffic, we need other streets for the slower drivers, walkers and bicyclists to make for a wholesome city.

I am signing because I believe this poses a significant safety issue for residents. I don't believe saving 30 seconds to 1.5 minutes justifies the increased cost or safety risks.

Why is the SFMTA doing this? You are wasting millions of taxpayer dollars to make streets LESS SAFE by installing traffic lights and so-called “calming circles.” Starting at Franklin and going west, McAllister is totally residential. McAllister is NOT nor should it be a high speed thoroughfare for Muni traffic. YOU HAVE NO JUSTIFICATION TO MAKE THESE CHANGES WITH IT IN MIND TO SAVE A MINUTE OR TWO ON THE COMMUTE FOR PEOPLE OUT IN THE AVENUES WHO DON'T EVEN LIVE IN THE NEIGHBORHOODS YOU WANT TO RUIN WITH YOUR CHANGES. It is high time you consider what the people in neighborhoods want and not just commuters who only use Muni a couple of times a day, Monday through Friday, while the rest of us in the neighborhoods have to live with your inane experiments 24 x 7.

Dear SFMTA,
Please have respect the historic district, the quality of life of its families, and the safety of our streets.
PLEASE NO BUSES SPEEDING ON OUR STREET FROM TRAFFIC LIGHT TO TRAFFIC LIGHT. Use GOLDEN GATE!!! IT ALREADY has traffic lights and it is a major thoroughfare. And, since the traffic lights are already there, you help save taxpayers' $$.
