Collective school-wide grade appeal for SUSS students
This petition had 589 supporters
In the most recent semester (Jan 2017), it has become a well-known fact the school board deliberately set out to pull their students' grades down for various upper-management reasons, including the discrepancy over the grades of part-time students and full-time students. This is not only unethical, but very hypocritical to the school's core values of Head, Heart and Habit. Even faculty members have voiced out that this is wrong, but are powerless against upper management. Grades can affect students' employability as well as future salary (in companies that pay according to graduates' class of honours). However, to apply for an examination grade appeal, students have to pay $64 per examination, which will only generate more revenue for the school for exploiting in students in the first place.
