The Susquenita School Board leadership has taken from the Superintendent the power to change the instructional model as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic. So far, the Board's leadership has declined to respond to the great urgency of the pandemic, despite Pennsylvania Department of Health and Pennsylvania Department of Education guidelines calling for instructional models to move away from five days a week of face-to-face instruction. In this time of great public health crisis, with our community members suffering and irreplaceable staff leaving our district, we call upon the Susquenita School Board to reinvest in the Superintendent the power to change the District's instructional model.
