As a Saskatchewan Roughriders fan, I was disgusted by the low intentional hit by Garrett Marino in the game in the game between the Ottawa Redblacks and Saskatchewan Roughriders on July 8th.

Garret Marino intentionally dove low and hit Jeremiah Masoli, afterwards gripping Masoli's legs and twisting to cause injury. This lead to Masoli being carried off the field.  Injury or not this hit was intentional and inappropriate for the CFL.  Please sign this petition to encourage the Roughrider management to take action and discipline a player for unacceptable behaviour.

This type of behaviour is not something I want to see on my team or in the CFL whatsoever.  I want Marino off the field and I want the Roughriders management to know that fans find it disgusting to ignore a player's to attempt to intentionally injure another player whatever the circumstance.  To top it off I'm disgusted by the fans that cheered Marino off the field while Marino waves his hands and acts like a rock star leaving the stage. I'm tired of having a management that isn't cracking down on poor behaviour and unacceptable conduct.  This follows a game where the Riders lost 150 yards in penalties, management is not taking discipline seriously and a petition to show that fans are tired of this behaviour in our team and that there may be a financial impact is in order.

The Roughriders management has the power to get ahead of this issue before the CFL and make a public apology, not just from Marino but from them, and at the very least bench Marino. Please help me put pressure on the Rider management a sign this petition to have them take this seriously and recognize the fans hold management just as accountable as Marino.
