The COVID-19 is more deadly than the flu, and one of the biggest transmission is human to human. Schools are largerly populated, and easy to transmit any type of dieseases, and schools should be shut down, to stop the spread of COVID-19. The World Health Organization had made the announcement of prediction that the COVID-19 will outbreak on March 15th, and even after spring break, the virus will not just disappear. So following in the spring break, the schools should be shut down, and should basically be a extending of the spring break, until the virus has a cure, or the situation became better. The Health information website fo Canada stated that “

Self-isolate vs. self-monitor
There is a difference between advice to self-isolate and advice to self-monitor.

You should self-isolate if:

you have been diagnosed with COVID-19
local public health has identified you as a close contact of someone diagnosed with COVID-19
If you have not been diagnosed with COVID-19 or identified as a close contact of someone with COVID-19, you may be asked to self-monitor.
stay home
limit contact with others
contact local public health, and follow their instructions”

The website stated that self monitor is needed if you suspect the corona virus, and it reduce the risk of human to human interaction, which can quarantine the virus easily.
