The following has been reported to Surrey Police. The more complaints they receive the more likely they will come and move the vans on so please report this if you can.
Ockham Bites is a cafe situated just off the A3 catering for families, dog walkers and horse riders. There are about 15 Polish vans parked inappropriately, causing obstruction, dropping litter, drinking alcohol and I have had a report from one of the customers of Ockham Bites that one of the drivers was urinating near the entrance to the car park exposing himself to oncoming vehicles.
The bylaws state ‘no overnight parking’ ‘no obstruction’ and ‘not to cause nuisance to other people’.
Many families with young children use the car park area regularly, along with horse riders that can no longer get into the car park because they cannot unload their horses.
Nobody needs to witness men drinking and urinating in public, it is very intimidating.
We request that the Police, Surrey Council, and Surrey Wildlife Trust remove these trucks and return the carpark to the general public, walkers, horse riders, and families. Let Ockham Bites area return to how it was.
