Request For Standard Seating In Trains To Ease Commuter Overcrowding

Mumbai local train's first class tickets cost three times more than that of general class. I have experienced travelling in both (general and first class compartment). In both cases, I stand everyday for a seat till Dadar (approximately one hour). Overcrowding has become a sensitive issue. It's very very difficult to even board a train (general or first class). Truth to be told, I skip everyday atleast two trains in a row because of the crowd and so many people even risk lives by standing/hanging at doors.
I assume, Central railways has not done a serious profiling of their travelling database to find out the exact number of people travelling in local trains. The ideal thing would be to increase the number of coaches and, if that cannot be done, then some out-of-the-box solution should be implemented. It gets very crowded in the compartments, especially when the trains are running late.
With all due respect, I request you to increase the number of coaches in the train or atleast, one alternate solution could be increasing the frequency of trains during peak hours. 'RUSH' has become huge factor, still in peak hours first or second class situation is same & only in odd hours you will get less rush and on holidays.
