Differentiating between identical twins can be very difficult. Having to spend the extra two seconds to figure out which twin you're talking to can be a tremendous burden. Being able to call twins by either name saves a lot of time. A Harvard Study claims that although the twins will not appreciate being called by the name of their womb-mate, it makes life much easier for everyone else.
