Scrap the domicile reservation in NLSIU

NLSIU or National Law School of India University is the most prestigious law college in India. A dream for most, the college has extremely limited seats for Undergraduate courses. 57 to be precise. In such a situation, reserving 50% of the seats for domiciles is not only unfair to the applicants but also to the the heritage preserved by the institution.
The move is so unwelcoming that the the Student Bar Association of National Law School of India University (NLSIU) Bangalore has also resolved to fight Karnataka’s move to introduce a 50 per cent state domicile reservation at India’s oldest national law school.
All the law aspirants in the country know how competitive CLAT is and how difficult it is for one to register oneself at NLSIU, being one, I share the grief too.
Help me save the cultural and regional diversity at NLSIU.
