The citizenship (amendment) bill was passed by the BJP ruled government today in India.The Bill amends the Citizenship Act, 1955 to make illegal migrants who are Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, Parsis and Christians from Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan, eligible for citizenship.
It is solely created on the basis of religion and to gather a permanent vote bank in Assam. Such rehabilitation is threatening the indigenous peoples of Assam. It is destroying the culture and the assameAs nation. Please help me to repeal this act and stop such communal politics.
