Due to the impact of lockdown that started in March 2020 many citizens of India have faced major financial issues due to loss of jobs or shutting down of business. Government has announced schemes for MSME's but those self employed who do not fall under MSME , primarily freelancers or very small time businessmen or  salaried employees who have been laid off by their company or receiving a salary cut are facing hardships on a daily basis to feed their families. Many have home loans, personal loans or credit cards, house rents, electricity bills etc., medical expenses to pay.

Moratorium Extension until 31st March 2021 will help those who have lost their jobs get the opportunity to find new jobs without the constant pressure of bank recovery agents hovering over them constantly. Small Businesses, Self Employed will get some time to recover their business. Restructuring of loans will not be helpful until economy is completely back on track. Economic crisis is an Act of God as stated by Ms. Nirmala Sitharaman publically. So who are suffering due to this nature of calamity have to be burdened by the government to pay Emi's without any source of income. Government has not helped the Middle Class in any way. But everytime something happens in the country and Government is in dire need of money, its the middle class that is targeted in every way.
