This petition is on behalf of almost 10498 candidates selec ted across posts ranging from Office assistants to Officer Scale-III across different Regional Rural Banks selected during the RRB VII recruitment exercise conducted by IBPS.

We are the merit list candidates who are now stuck due to Status quo order by the Honourable Supreme Court of India against the IBPS. There is a writ petition field by candidates selected in reserve list of RRB VI recruitment exercise which is no way related to RRB VII recruitment exercise.

This recruitment exercise is completely governed by the governament gazette pertaining to recruitment in Regional Rural Banks and there is no issue of unfair means/ cheating .

Issue :

Agroup of 11 petitioners led by Shri Vivek Kishore who were in the reserve list of IBPS RRB-VI and failed to get appointed in the reserve list have approached the Honourable Supreme Court of India and filed a writ petition bearing number 104/2019 with diary number 2844/2019 by including Union of India, NABARD and IBPS as respondents due to which the Honble Supreme Court has ordered the IBPS to maintain the status quo.

With this status quo, all RRBs have put a hold on the joining process for these 10498 selected candidates of IBPS RRB-VII.

Justification:
At first, the above said writ petition is not at all related to IBPS RRB-VII as candidates have cleared the recruitment process and are selected by the Banks as per their published vacancies.

With this status quo, candidates are spending hard times with no employment and some of the candidates who resigned from their previous jobs after being selected for IBPS RRB-VII are now facing difficulties to maintain their families. Due to this we're going through monetary loss, Service loss and more importantly lose of confidence in candidates.

We further request to please seek permission from the Honourable Supreme Court to release the status quo order from RRB7.
