Decriminalization of section 377

This petition had 164 supporters

Same-sex marriages are not legal in India. The Supreme Court re-criminalised Section 377 in 2013 after the Delhi High Court struck it down in 2009.  The news channels play an important role too, they fees the peopls ideas and if they cover the issue positively it will benefit everyone.  Homosexuality is not a disease and we need to understand that and take some inspiration from countries like Canada, U.S.A ,Germany, etc to legalize same sex marriage.

And,for all those people questioning "How are they going to start a family.", Adoption. This is also a solution for over population.  Win-Win situation.

WE ARE THE PEOPLE and if we come together and support our fellow people whi are a part of the LGBTQ+ Community only tjen can we progress as a society. Love is love and others should have no say in it. People who call it "unnatural" need to update themselves and stop hiding behind religion and try to make it simpler for people wjo are not straight. With your support we can reach this goal and hope that the Supreme court of India decriminalizes Section 377. Choose love.
