Alcohol Free Society and Schools

Alcohol is playing a vital role in helping crime in today's society. The rule to setup alcohol shop is like it should be 100 MTR away from school boundary, 500 MTR away from national highway (no mention of state highway).  Authorities deciding the rule should make amendments in this rule.

If a school nursery admission criteria is based on distance from school i.e. a child residing within 3 km of school radius will get the maximum point in admission then how can our government or hon'ble supreme court can let the alcohol shop be open just 100 MTR from school. Staff working in school or students of school can easily go and buy alcohol from the near by shop or while going back to their home which further will lead the crime to get born and raised upto any devastating level.

Alcohol shop setup at distance of 500 MTR from highways can no further will make anything change. Drivers can easily ride upto 500 MTR and buy alcohol which further will help in increasing the road accident graph.

The prayer to authorities is that they should now further make amendments to the rule for alcohol shop that these shops should not come in to the radius of school within 3 km and there shouldn't by any alcohol shop within the radius of 3 km of highways (both state and national)

As per the reference, there are Many incident which had happened in Schools in Delhi and India which are the results of alcohol consumption by staff of school , drivers and students of higher standard classes who easily can buy beer and wine from alcohol shops which are within the radius of 200-300 MTR of school boundary.

Incidence also includes road accident where driver buy alcohol in highway shops which are just 500 MTR away from road and are on road on state highway.

Kindly accept the petition in favour of society and our innocent children and for the safeguarding of drivers.
