In a recent incident the  Prime minister’s convoy was halted on a Punjab road for 15 minutes. There has been so much fake news propaganda over this incident  to malign Punjab and it’s people that it is disheartening  to see how the state is being targeted as an enemy. It is like making the country stand against just one state.

I request Supreme Court to take action against the news channels so that no unfortunate incidents takes place. 

The honourable court has already asked for investigation for lapse of security of the elected PM, but I request the court to please ask the mainstream media channels to stop maligning (which according to them is reporting) a state until the investigation is complete.

I feel we owe this much to the great state of Punjab which has already been wounded many times in history. The food house of india , Punjab, is a part of the country and demands respect and dignity.

there are many narratives running on TV, but my suggestion again is that provocative reporting to maligning Punjab and Punjabi people is unacceptable.

STOP USING PHRASES LIKE 

‘Punjab ka khooni khel; Hatya ki sazish Punjab mein etc’

Request people to maintain harmony and request Supreme Court to take action against this kind of reporting as broadcast ministry is just for name in the country
