Tropical North Steiner School (TNSS) is a fully accredited and registered Primary School working towards opening in 2023 with Prep to Class 3, then naturally growing to class 6.

Steiner education follows an internationally recognized curriculum focusing on the balance of academic, creative, and emotional development. 

Tropical North Steiner School is a registered not for profit charity.

We currently lease a piece of land along the Mossman River surrounded by rainforest, with a lovely little hall that we have put lots of love and care into over the last 5 years. We hold playgroups in our hall to raise funds to cover our expenses (rates, water usage, electricity etc).

During the council planning process we have been presented with a planning issue pertaining to a road usage and access way and zoning.

We have a workshop booked with Council on August 30th to hopefully find a way forward for our project.
