"Warning: Genocidal Images Ahead."

If you have attended the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, chances are you have seen this sign on your way to class.

Subsequently, your day is ruined by gory, disturbing images obstructing your walk to class, robbing you of your appetite.

While the message of the specific demonstration I am describing is far from disturbing, the methods they use to promote it are. Moreover, they are harmful to students who are recovering from failed or terminated pregnancies and would like to attend class.

This does not have to continue. Demand change!

Sign the in support of SGA Senator Kidder's resolution to rid Pedestrian Walkway and other central areas of our campus of openly displayed disturbing images. Read the resolution (in progress) here.

This resolution is not in the interest of censoring subjects that may be "offensive" on campus. It is in the interest of adhering to the existing UTK Title IX policy and ensuring that students who have experienced or are recovering from failed or terminated pregnancy feel safe on campus.
