As the video shows, the officer was clearly defending himself against a violent attack and does not deserve the vilification he is being subjected to. Justice is important, and it is not just to villify a man for defending himself against a clear and visually recorded act of violence. I myself was fooled, at first, into seeing this officer as a villain and this is my way of trying to make up for having signed a misleading petition that does not give the full story.
