The foster and adoptive community is calling for an increase to the Drug Enforcement Administration's budget to further combat the manufacturing, distribution, and trafficking of controlled substances in the U.S.
Hundreds of thousands of children have entered the U.S. foster care system as a result of neglect in connection to drug abuse within their family and community. Worldwide, millions of children are having their childhood destroyed as their families are targeted by traffickers and dealers.
Increasing the Drug Enforcement Administration's budget will supply the agency with additional resources and manpower to disrupt and dismantle major drug trafficking organizations across the U.S. and internationally as well. Your support will help combat the threat, trafficking, and use of illegal drugs and the diversion of licit drugs throughout the U.S.
Millions of children will be impacted positively by your support.
