Years ago the Coffeyville Rec Center decided to change their program and remove padded football for our kids.  As it stands we currently have kids not being taught the concept of football or the proper techniques of football until the 7th grade.  This increases the risk of injury as young men who try to learn proper technique in 7th grade get hit harder and have less opportunity to learn the correct way to brace for a hit or deliver one.  We need football with pads for our youth!  Please sign this petition to help change these rules that were forced on our community.  If you want a winning team worth watching we need to start them younger.
