- We request SCM make mask wearing optional for all students for the 2021-2022 school year.
- We are not anti-mask. We are pro-choice for masks. Each family should be able to decide if a mask is right for them.
- SCM's efforts to enable in-person learning last school year cannot be understated and is greatly applauded. The mitigation measures employed (to include student cohorts, temp/symptom screening, sanitization, air purification) were essential to enabling our children to return to in-person learning where they continued to grow intellectually, emotionally, and socially.
- We look forward to making responsible choices and being able to determine the best course for our children as members of the SCM community.
- As such, we encourage ALL parents and guardians (regardless of child’s age) to sign our petition!
