As a domestic violence survivor, I cannot stress enough the importance of people being held accountable for their actions against another human being.

Domestic violence against women or men should be a felony or the death penalty. 90% of narcissistic men/women do not change.

HALF of dv victims were strangled before their fatal encounters?! How is this not widely known? Please protect yourself, ladies, you are so valuable.

I survived my former husband. But without recent abuse during my custody trial, I was having flashbacks and suffering from PTSD. I was emotional in court. My former husband used it against me. I want to help people understand the importance of seeing signs and getting involved. More officers and healthcare workers should seek training. I want to help others escape. My son is an adult now. He escaped too. But there was so much that he should have never had to endure. - (Slipped through the cracks.)

Strangulation is attempted murder, and should be charged as such. Period

A change in the law is needed to prevent the needless murder of women by their own partner.
