Naser Kamali runs a small independent coffee stall on the Finchley Road called Star Box coffee. Starbucks has contacted Mr Kamali through a lawyer to tell him his trading name is “technically an infringement of trademark rights”. We ask that Starbucks refrain from harassing Mr Kamali and apologise for its behaviour.

Mr Kamali says “I do believe in Marxism and that is very important to me. That is why I had the red star logo on my stickers. I am in a box. It’s my red, star box.” Mr Kamali has contributed greatly to our community ever since arriving in the UK as a political refugee from Iran, where he was jailed for his beliefs.

Please sign this petition to show solidarity with Mr Kamali. As he says, “I always pay my tax. It is very difficult. Do they?”
