Intro to The Laundry
The Laundry Gallery and Cafe located at 3359 26th Street in San Francisco, CA recently opened its gallery doors in the Mission district of San Francisco. Our mission is to build a creative space dedicated to fostering creative culture, connection and community. Our 6,000 square foot venue hosts a cafe, art gallery, experiential events, community workshops and more - providing unique opportunities for exploration, collaboration and connection.

Problem We're Trying to Solve
The Laundry would like to offer our space up to artists, performers and entertainers alike to share their talents with the community. In order to invite performers into our space, we are required to obtain a Limited Live Performance permit from the city to amplify any sound. Whether that's having an open mic session for poets, or hosting an album release for a local musicians - this permit is required for us to host these types of events.

What You Can do to Help
On Tuesday, October 4, 2016 we will speak for the first time in front of the Entertainment Commissioners of San Francisco to request permission to gain our Limited Live Performance permit. We need your help in gathering 200+ signatures from residents who live in the city of San Francisco who support our mission to bring more art and culture into San Francisco. The more signatures of support that we can show to them, the more likely they will approve our request for a permit.

Help support more art and culture in San Francisco by signing this petition.
Thank you for your time and we hope to see you at a future event at The Laundry!
