The people of Iran want freedom from oppression and human rights abuses. Their protests have so far resulted in the Government of Iran killing more than 300 protestors, 30 of whom were under the age of 18 and arresting, imprisoning, torturing and abusing thousands of other human rights protestors. Now the government is sentencing these people to death without giving them access to lawyers or fair trials. In Iran Women are banned from attending football matches as spectators. A basic human right that nobody else could imagine being taken away. Women in Iran don't even have equality in law. In a court of law the evidence of 2 Women is equal to the evidence of 1 man.

The Iranian football team who will be playing England,  Wales and the United States in the World Cup 2022 in Qatar have been threatened with arrest and confiscation of their assets if they display their support for their freedom craving citizens.  

This petition calls on the England,  Wales and USA teams to support the freedom movement in Iran by publicly wearing the symbols for freedom in Iran during the games. That is 'Woman, Life, Freedom' or in Farsi 'Zan, Zendegy, Azadi'. This will be seen by 80 million viewers in Iran and bring much needed International attention to the plight of the people of Iran. 

By doing this three of the most prominent nations of the world can show that they stand for equality for all women everywhere and for human rights in Iran, a country with one of the most appalling human rights records in modern history. 

The players can wear armbands, or badges or temporary tattoos without breaching and FIFA game rules. Ideally we would ask these players to add the slogan 'Zan, Zendegi, Azadi' to their shirts. Please be the voice of Iranian people who only want freedom. This is not political its just basic human rights
