I saw a Highline Marching Band in the 4th of July Parade a few years ago with no uniforms. Obvious sign of lack of funds...

I started playing drums in the 4th grade, at Gregory Heights Elementary. My son is now a drummer in 6th grade. My kindergarten daughter will take band in 5th grade. Music is the root of everything. Children need the opportunity to enjoy music and band programs, district-wide. This is why I'm signing this petition!
