The Arts and Culture Master Plan needs your help!

On May 31st, the Healdsburg City Council will meet to finalize their two-year budget through 2024

Background:

~On August 16, 2021 the City Council adopted the city-funded Arts & Culture Master Plan.  The local community workgroup (The Creative Leadership Team) who helped draft this plan recommended using our T.O.T. money (hotel bed tax) to make that plan a reality for everyone in our Healdsburg community.  

~In their 2020-25 Strategic Plan, this Council made this agreement to the community:

GOAL 7.4:  SUPPORT THE OUTCOMES OF THE ARTS AND CULTURE MASTER PLANNING PROCESS TO ENHANCE THE ROLE OF ARTS IN THE COMMUNITY

~The Creative Leadership Team recommended appropriate funding to implement the City's Arts and Culture Master Plan. 

~Right now, The City Manager has slashed the suggested funding by 90%.

~This current placeholder amount for this vital programming is simply insufficient to launch the Arts and Culture Master Plan.

¡El Plan Maestro de Arte y Cultura necesita tu ayuda!

El 31 de mayo, el Consejo de La Ciudad de Healdsburg se reunirá para finalizar su presupuesto de dos años hasta 2024.

Antecedentes: 

El 16 de agosto de 2021, el Concejo Municipal adoptó el Plan Maestro de Artes y Cultura financiado por la ciudad. El grupo de trabajo de la comunidad local (el Equipo de Liderazgo Creativo) que ayudó a redactar este plan recomendó usar dinero de T.O.T (impuesto de cama de hotel) para hacer que ese plan sea una realidad para todos en nuestra comunidad de Healdsburg.

En su Plan Estratégico 2020-25, este Consejo hizo este acuerdo a la comunidad.

OBJETIVO 7.4: APOYAR LOS RESULTADOS DEL PROCESO DE PLANIFICACIÓN MAESTRA DE LAS ARTES Y LA CULTURA PARA MEJORAR EL PAPEL DE LAS ARTES EN LA COMUNIDAD.

El Equipo de Liderazgo Creativo recomendó fondos apropiados para implementar el Plan Maestro de Arte y Cultura de la Ciudad.
