I am in the process of applying for a liquor licence for Pukehina's bar and restaurant 'Handles & Jandals' at 500 Pukehina Parade.  My aim is to create a family run, all inclusive, welcoming, good vibes place for our locals, tourists and their families to come for great food, great coffee and ideally a few drinks in a safe environment.

I know my community want this but unfortunately I've had three objections to my license and will probably have to go to a hearing to move forward.

My family have put all our eggs in this basket and really just want to create something positive for our community and a future for our children.  We are good people and I know if given the chance I can run this bar in a safe and responsible way that boosts the community, not brings it down.
