Recently, University of Vermont has been in the spotlight after a Fraternity survey asked members "If you could rape someone, who would it be?" This egregious expression of rape culture ignited a fire of action to combat sexism and rape culture at the University and society as a whole.

Please help us create a safe, supportive and gender equal culture for students, faculty, staff and greater community members!

We demand:

1. UVM must enact a zero tolerance policy for sexualized violence and the perpetuation of rape culture on campus.

2. UVM must rework diversity requirements to include mandatory Women's and Gender Studies courses.

3. UVM must increase funding for ALANA, LGBT and Women's Center in porportion with growing needs and size of student body.

4.UVM must develop leadership bodies that accurately represent the gender composition of the UVM community and facilitate leadership by women.

5. UVM must provide full transparency about sexual harassment, rape, and gender violence in the UVM community and regularly report such information.
