Support Funding for Rhode Island's Social Service Workforce Crisis

UPDATE 3/29/2022: There is currently legislation being considered in Rhode Island that would provide a long-term solution to our current workforce crisis across our statewide system of care. (S2311 / H7180) Please take a moment to reach out to your local legislator-- write a handwritten note, an email, or make a call to their office in support of this bill.
Family Service of Rhode Island and other nonprofit human service organizations in our state are experiencing an unprecedented workforce crisis that's directly negatively impacting the lives of vulnerable children and families in our state. If we don't act now, together, social service providers in our state will continue to leave nonprofit work for higher-paying, less impactful roles, often leaving social work altogether and leaving families and children struggling to access services.
If you care about children and families, please join us in advocating for DCYF and provider agencies like ours to get critical funds to keep these services going.
