As you should be aware of, overdraft loans cost bank consumers nearly $24 billion each year, and most of the time we're unaware that we're even being charged.  We should have the chance to choose whether to incur overdraft fees or decline a transaction. This means that we would get a warning at ATM's and cash registers so that we know we are about to overdraw our account.  Please, don't let the banks surprise us with overdraft fees when there's an easy way for us to decline the transaction.  Please, support the FAIR Overdraft Coverage Act of 2009, S 1799, now.
