This petition is for anyone who supports Mr Mike Renfro and we are pleading to the superintendent of Beech Grove City Schools to take into consideration the kind of human being Mr Renfro truly is. The impact he has had on the school system, athletics, and the entire community of Beech Grove. Mr Renfro is a beloved coach, teacher, mentor, friend, father and husband.

His character was damaged within the Beech Grove community during a time in this process where every man is “INNOCENT” until proven “Guilty”. Mr Renfro has helped a countless number of students within the school system, not just athletics. He has taken kids off the streets and guided them towards a promising future. Mr Renfro shows compassion for every student in our school system. He allows the mentally challenged and autistic students to help manage the boys basketball team, to include them in part of the brotherhood that he teaches and stands by.

We ask that the superintendent allow his case to play out and not to make any decision prior to that, in terms of Mr Renfro’s position as head coach/teacher. A wrong decision can be made by any human being on this earth. It doesn’t define who they are as a person. Please let the facts play out in Mr Renfro’s case and when they do, we the people of Beech Grove ask the he be given a chance to prove to everyone that he indeed is everything that this petition stands for.
