Support Cybercrime Victim Services: A Lifeline for Victims of Digital Fraud

My name is Jason Tschetter, founder and lead investigator of Cybercrime Victim Services. I know firsthand the devastating impact of cybercrime—I was a victim of cryptocurrency fraud. The experience left me feeling violated, helpless, and frustrated by the lack of specialized support for victims like me. It’s time to change that.

I chose to get trained in Law Enforcement / OSINT "Outside Source Intelligence" and Cryptocurrency Forensics through Chainalysis & Ciphertrace.

I chose to fight back!

We live in 2025—an era where AI can write theses, compose music, create art, and generate deepfake videos so lifelike they can deceive audiences worldwide. Yet, we still don’t have a dedicated Cybercrime Victim Service center. Isn’t it time we caught up?

Why We Need a Cybercrime Victim Service Center
Despite the rising threat, victims of cybercrime have nowhere to turn. There is no centralized service dedicated to helping victims of cryptocurrency fraud or digital scams. We need a specialized, police-backed Cybercrime Victim Service Center that:
✔️ Provides immediate assistance and emotional support
✔️ Helps victims trace and recover stolen funds
✔️ Offers expert guidance through legal and financial recovery
✔️ Bridges communication between law enforcement and victims

With 20,000 Signatures, we will take this to the Federal Level for Charity status and request Cybercrime Victim Services becomes a Government funded facility for victims of Cybercrime

One already exists: Cybercrime Victim Services Canada

As of February 2024 - Cybercrime Victim Services can now confirm with the aid of the Edmonton City Police "AB" & Homeland Security "USA" we have succesfully retrieved stolen cryptocurrency for an Edmonton client.

Cybercrime Victim Services Canada was founded in Edmonton, Alberta, and is already fighting for victims. Now, we need Provincial and Federal support to continue our mission.

Our Services will Include:

We have a registered lobbyist actively working with the Federal government to reform cybercrime laws. Join us in the fight to protect Canadians in the digital age!

The Alarming Reality of Cybercrime
Cybercrime is not just an abstract threat; it’s a growing crisis affecting millions worldwide. Consider these staggering statistics:

📌 In 2020, the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center received 791,790 complaints, with reported losses exceeding $4.2 billion (FBI IC3 2020 Internet Crime Report).
📌 In Canada (2022), the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre (CAFC) recorded 90,377 fraud reports, resulting in over $530 million in reported losses.
📌 By late 2023, Equifax reported that identity fraud accounted for 75.21% of all fraudulent applications, up from 64.7% in 2022.
📌 Between April–July 2023, TransUnion found that 49% of Canadians were targeted by a fraud scheme.

These crimes often involve romance scams, pig butchering scams, fake FOREX trading schemes, and phishing attacks that compromise personal data. Every time we browse the internet, we risk falling victim to cybercriminals.
