Supply food and essentials for people in Sri Lanka

We would like to draw the attention of the Prime Minister and the Australian Government to AirSupply food and essential supplies at an earliest possible opportunity for the starving people in Sri Lanka. 

As an Australian and as a Sri Lankan- Australian, I am calling on the Prime Minister and the Australian government to commit to a special air supply of food and essentials.

Sri Lanka is currently experiencing its worst economic crisis in history. People are starving and long lines and wait for food, fuel, cooking gas, essentials supplies. They cannot be bought and/or in short supply. This has been further exacerbated by long hours of power cuts the people has been suffering for months. 

Ordinary people are on streets. Sri Lanka government has imposed a curfew across the country. Sri Lankan also declared a nationwide public emergency late on Friday. 

People are in dire need of food and essential supplies.
