Please don’t kick out Miracle Skate!

The Madera fair board has decided not to renew our lease for Miracle Skate and our current lease will end on March 31, 2020. We, the community of Madera, are devastated by the loss of Miracle Skate in Madera. It is truly not fair to kick us out with such short notice when we have been successfully serving the community of Madera for nearly two decades. Don Miracle has poured his heart and soul into making the skating rink a safe and affordable place for youth, families and people of all ages to go. Madera is a small town with very little affordable entertainment for families and the youth of Madera.
The skating rink in Madera has been in operation since 1977 and Don Miracle has been successfully operating the Madera skating rink (Miracle Skate) for nearly 19 years. Miracle Skate has been a staple in the Madera community for many years. It has helped to keep the Madera youth out of trouble and to give families a safe, affordable place to go.
We need some more time to find a suitable building to continue operating Miracle Skate. We also need to ensure that the Madera fairgrounds will not put another skating rink in the Madera fairgrounds under new ownership once we find another building to move our business. Madera is a small town and two skating rinks cannot operate successfully in a town of this size. I would like to continue serving the community of Madera. Please sign this petition in support of Miracle Skate and help us to have more time here!
