Parents and Guardians have been given very short notice and have been informed that as supermarket workers, they are not essential enough for their children to access eduction in January 2021. They were not listed as critical workers and by omission of this fact, now do not have access to Primary and Secondary childcare provision for their children at their local Schools.
Supermarket workers are a vital part of society that ensure people can access their essentials since the start of the pandemic.
Some Parents and Guardians would have no other means for support which would mean they could lose their jobs and lose hours without the extra support.
Now then Government, what are you going to do about it?
