Allow students at Lower Moreland to have the option of going virtual while still being a part of the school. As a student, I have many concerns about still being forced in person while people around me must stay home but miss school because they are quarantining to avoid exposing others but don’t have a positive test. I know there are students who still go on even if the people they live with are positive, I hear it all the time in the hallways about people admitting that, and I don’t feel safe at all. But the school board is breathing down the superintendent’s back to keep everything in person while more and more students AND staff are being exposed and testing positive. The people quarantining are being held back because they can’t do virtual while trying not to expose others which is extremely unfair. Giving students the option to go virtual will keep students from missing work, HELP slow the surge, and PROTECT students and staff.
