Waverly City Schools has always had the American Flag in every classroom and we used to say the Pledge of Allegiance every morning. 

In the more recent years, the Pledge of Allegiance has been taken out of the daily routine. Now there are no more American Flags in the classrooms. They have taken the flags down over the summer when school isn’t in session so the students and staff doesn’t see it right away. 

I personally believe that the American Flag should be flown in every single classroom worldwide. I never thought that small town Waverly would fall into all of these issues with the American Flag. The American Flag has our countries past and struggles that this country has faced
