This week, The Atlanta Braves won the World Series!! This hasn’t happened since like 20 years! To celebrate the victory, The Braves have announced that there will be a parade on November the 5. Many county’s in Georgia have either canceled school or have excused absences. Included in this petition I would also like to recognize on of the last pitchers for the Braves with this World Series win. Will Smith, a Northgate Highschool graduate, also located in Coweta county. That is a very special achievement for our county to hold a World Series MLB winner. Yet, our school district is not being involved in this excitement of the victory. I believe that this moment will be remembered all through your life.
