Our high school graduation is an important milestone. During our ceremony, we want to hear from those who have had a positive impact and supported us throughout our 4 years at WHS. One of the most prominent adults for our class has been our associate principals. Their positive aura and amazing personalities have been wonderful additions to the school staff. Throughout his time with us, they have made our voices feel heard and advocates for us. We were shocked to learn that associate principals are not allowed to speak during graduation ceremonies. After working us for four years, it means a lot to us students that our APs are able to address us in our final moments of together as a class. The Class of 2020 believes that associate principals should be allowed to speak during graduation and we want ours to be one of the first to do so.
