Please restore full size gym / cafeteria in the Washington School!

We are Millburn parents and members of the community who are concerned that the Washington School gym / cafeteria is not sufficient to properly accommodate lunch and P.E. gym activities.
We understood that the Washington School would have a full size gym / cafeteria / auditorium (please see links for referendum proposals presented to the board and currently on the district website!). At back-to-school night however, it was revealed that about 1/3 of the main area of the gym was divided off and was in process of being set up as an art room. We ask that you please relocate the art room to a more appropriate space (such as a classroom with natural light where the media center is currently located) and to restore the gym / cafeteria / auditorium to its originally proposed and promised full size!
Additionally we were led to believe that the Washington School would have a proper gym; implicit in this promise are wood floors, basketball hoops and gym equipment similar to what the other elementary schools in the district have. Unfortunately, the "gym" has only a linoleum floor, a solitary basketball hoop that appears to be inaccessible to children and no other equipment/mats etc. We ask that you please remedy this as soon as possible, thank you very much!
(Please see original proposal below! As you can see, the full green colored-in area was proposed as a gym / cafeteria / auditorium. However it appears that instead of opening up the wall to accomplish this (see the double dash vertical line between the 3rd and 4th column of tables), this was not opened up and instead was assigned as an art room!)
