We are petitioning for the choice to send our students back into classrooms as opposed to the current lone option of virtual learning. We request Atlanta Public Schools (APS) reopen campuses for in-person instruction as quickly and safely as possible while respecting every parent’s right to choose to remain learning on-line or to resume learning on-campus.

 Public school is a right for children.  Atlanta parents have the right to make decisions regarding the health and welfare of their children.  We choose education, not on a screen, but in person. We need transparency from the Board and Dr. Herring with regards to any plans being made for reopening – as well as any associated obstacles.  We are united in the struggle to help our children, so give us the visibility that allows us to assist. 

We are going to continue to fight for our children, ALL CHILDREN, to have a choice! Address this injustice now Mayor Lance-Bottoms, Mr. Woods, Dr. Herring and members of the APS School Board. Our children are depending on you.
