The questionnaire SUNY Oneonta plans on giving daily does not protect students against asymptomatic students, nor students who lie on the survey in order to avoid a mandated quarantine. Each student should be required to get tested in their hometown the week of returning, and if possible, some time throughout September to ensure the safety of the students and staff. If we’re going to return to campus, we don’t want to have to leave again due to an outbreak due to lack of testing.
