SUNY Fredonia: Cancel Classes on Election Day
SUNY Fredonia: Cancel Classes on Election Day

Voting is a vital part of a functioning democracy. Despite this, many students are unable to vote because of their academic commitments. On behalf of all of the SUNY Fredonia students who want to vote in the Democratic primary, please consider canceling classes on Tuesday, April 28th.
By canceling classes on election day, SUNY Fredonia would grant students the ability to vote who otherwise would be unable to make it to the polls. Many students, including myself, do not have transportation and will be walking to the polls to vote, which lengthens time commitment. There are students who are prepared to skip classes in order to participate in the primary.
SUNY Fredonia: Please consider canceling classes on Tuesday, April 28th and allowing your student body a guilt-free way to participate in this important election primary.
