As reported by the Times Union this week, Attorney General Letitia James’ office released background material in her office’s investigation of the former governor, Andrew Cuomo, which revealed the true character of SUNY Chancellor Jim Malatras. The report contains misogynistic texts from Malatras who harasses, defames and attempts to humiliate Lindsey Boylan, the woman who came forward with allegations of Cuomo's sexual harassment.

As graduate students of The University at Albany School of Social Welfare, we are dedicated to the realization of a fair and just society and institutions that are diverse, inclusive and equitable. We stand with Lindsey Boylan. We demand the removal of SUNY Chancellor Jim Malatras, and plan to withhold Spring 2022 tuition payments until he is dismissed.
