This needs to be implemented everywhere. Councils will be the winners in reducing costs for waste disposal

I’m signing because I believe more people would use cloth if they had some type of rebate on the initial outlay.

Such a great incentive for parents to use cloth and divert a ton of waste from landfill

Cloth nappies never break down in landfill, contribute to methane emissions and take up to 5% of landfill contents! Cloth nappies also use less totally resources to produce and use (water, carbon emissions)

I would like to see more sustainable practices moving forward and giving young families incentives is important.

I am a mum of 4 who used cloth for most of their younger years. If not a rebate, then a cleaning service would be great too

As a Mum, I'm signing because disposable nappies are a huge cause of waste and one which we should move away from.

Cloth nappies are brilliant and so much better for the earth and environment. A rebate would give people more of an incentive to try them as they can be an expensive outlay.

I’ve saved thousands of nappies from landfill by using reusable cloth nappies over 5 years. This would be a great step in the right direction to encourage families to try cloth nappies.

I would love to see our local councils rewarding all the amazing families who choose to use cloth nappies and reduce landfill
