This petition is to stop the connection of Sunset Ridge to Pine Valley Estates via Pin Oak Drive. It is also to retain the mature trees in common areas and surrounding property to prevent additional noise pollution from the PA Turnpike.

Sunset Ridge is a planned community with a maximum of 47 units (per the public offering statement). This public offering statement makes NO mention of any connection to another community.  It implied 47 units TOTAL. There was NO reason for the Sunset Ridge owners to assume otherwise when we signed our contracts with the builder.  

Birch Dr., the entrance of Sunset Ridge that connects to Pin Oak Dr. is already congested with traffic due to the school bus stops located at the entrance, cluster mail boxes, delivery vehicles, residents' vehicles, and existing construction. There have been many close calls of accidents both in vehicles and pedestrians due to this congestion.  Birch Dr. is a narrow road and not designed to support the 80 homes in Pine Valley Estates plus all the traffic that goes along with them.

The PA Turnpike noise has drastically increased since we first moved here and would even more so with the 35 acres of trees being cut down for Pine Valley Estates.  The replacement with small starter trees provides no barrier for noise.  Reconsider your plan of only planting 182 effectively "starter" trees.
