Concerns regarding the new Las Valencias development

Checkpoint Ginger, LLC is looking to develop a new subdivision directly west of Villa Valencia Phase III. Villa Valencia and Valencia Park Homeowners are concerned about the following:
- We don't have the infrastructure to support further growth, especially education. Villa Valencia kids can't even go to a school within walking distance. Where would everyone else in this new community go? Anthony? La Union ES is reaching capacity. What plans does GISD have to deal with this growth?
- Villa Valencia Phase III is at risk of seeing a significant increase in traffic. All commercial traffic for this development needs to be funneled through Pete Domenici Hwy.
- Increased use of our parks and common areas, for which maintenance is paid for by the Villa Valencia Homeowners Association. Will this new development become part of our HOA so that shared common areas are supported by everyone as a whole?
- Street lighting for this development needs to be planned in advance and not after.
