Clinton Place Woods is a valued green space in our community and has been enjoyed by generations of people.
Now, more than ever, our green spaces are of importance as they offer people a chance to exercise and relax, being good for both physical and mental health.
Sunderland City Council have revealed plans to build a car park of over 500 spaces on part of the land, destroying our green space forever and seeing it filled with tarmac.
We call on Sunderland City Council to abandon their plans to destroy this valued green space.
